myView Literacy Grade K Homeschool Bundle

The myView Literacy English Language Arts Curriculum for Grades K-5 is designed to illuminate those lightbulb moments when students truly grasp the meaning of texts, stories, and language. This unique curriculum utilizes a workshop model approach, integrating literacy content areas with social-emotional learning through project-based inquiry. Leveled Readers engage students with high-interest topics for guided and independent reading. Each Unit of Study introduces a theme and essential question. Weekly sections lead to a culminating project-based inquiry activity. Lessons include reading workshops with infographics, foundational skills, genre-specific readings, and writing workshops.

MyTurn questions promote comprehension and vocabulary skills, while Turn and Talk segments encourage collaboration. In kindergarten, phonological awareness activities occur three times a week, complementing daily phonics lessons. Decodable stories emphasize phonics skills and high-frequency words.
